What National Day Is It?

National Days Green

I hope you enjoyed this past week’s “National Days”, and were able to participate in some of them. Here’s this week’s National Days:

June 9th:  Ride Your Bike Day – Pull your bicycle out and go for a Sunday ride.

June 10th:  Measure Your Height Day – Have fun seeing how much everyone has grown.  You could also make a family growth chart.

June 11th:  German Chocolate Cake Day – Try making this yummy dessert from scratch or use a box cake mix, either way, it’s sure to be a delicious time.  Also, read about the history of the cake here.

June 12th:  Name Tag Day – Have the whole family wear one for fun at home, also wear it out and use it to start conversations.  Or make name tags for place settings at the dinner table.

June 13th:  Juggling Day – Grab some oranges, tennis balls, or some other fun round objects and try your hand at juggling.

June 14th:  Make a Fort Day – See how creative you can get making forts in the house or out.

June 15th:  Tea Party Day – Break out the fine china, or a child’s tea set and enjoy a time of tea together.

We hope you and your family enjoy participating.  After you observe a day, if you would like, come back and tell us what you did in the comments or share it on Facebook.   You can also email pictures and we will post them in the next Friday’s post.*
