What National Day Is It?

National Days Green

I hope you enjoyed this past week’s “National Days”, and were able to participate in some of them. Below is a pic of our oldest son “observing” Juggling Day last week.

Juggling National Day

Here’s this week’s National Days:

June 16th:  Hat Day – Don your favorite hat for the day.

June 17th:  Fresh Veggies Day – Wash up some yummy veggies to munch.

June 18th:  Picnic Day – Enjoy a picnic at a park or in your own backyard.

June 19th:  Find Loose Change In Your Cushions Day – Go on a hunt to find all that loose change that falls down under your couch cushions.  Let each person keep what they find, or put it all together and buy a fun treat!

June 20th:  Crossword Puzzle Day – Give your brain a workout and have fun at the same time.  Here are some free printable crossword puzzles.

June 21st:  Be Kind to a Cat Day – Most people either really like them, or really don’t.  Either way, at least for today, if a feline crosses your path, show a little kindness – you can decide what that looks like.

June 22nd:  Apron Day – Apron’s used to be a must in the housewife’s life, but have mostly become a thing of the past, if you have one pull it out and wear it while you cook or clean.  If you don’t have one, you can make one.

We hope you and your family enjoy participating.  After you observe a day, if you would like, come back and tell us what you did in the comments or share it on Facebook.   You can also email pictures and we will post them in the next Friday’s post.*

* Pictures must relate directly to one of the National Days listed for the week, appropriate for all viewing audiences and will be posted at the discretion of FamilyFaith&Home.
