What National Day Is It?

National Days Green

I hope you enjoyed this past week’s “National Days”, and were able to participate in some of them.  Below are a couple of pictures from this week.

This pic is from Nancy of her homemade granola bar with chocolate chips, taken on Chocolate Chip Day. Thanks for sharing Nancy!

Here are next week’s “National Days”:

May 19th –  Photo Reminiscing Day
~Get out your photos and gather your family to enjoy the fun of looking back on special memories.

May 20th – Lights Out Day
~Have fun and save some money by going the day without turning on any lights. Enjoy sunlight during the day and candle light in the evening.

May 21st – Clean Out Your Junk Drawer Day
~Most everyone has one, that drawer that collects everything from screwdrivers to twisty ties – the one that could always use organizing but  everyone dreads tackling. Make today the day you clean that “dreaded” junk drawer.

May 22nd – Learn About A Country Day
~With your family, choose a country you know very little about and Google or otherwise research some basic information about the country today.

May 23rd – Strawberries and Cream Day
~ Enjoy some strawberries with real cream on them or get creative and make a recipe with strawberries and cream.

May 24th – Thumb Wrestling Day
~Have some friendly family competition by thumb wrestling today. You might even want to have a mini thumb wrestling tournament.

May 25th – Wear Blue Day
~There are many different shades of blue, have fun wearing one shade or several shades together.

We hope you and your family enjoy participating.  After you observe a day, if you would like, come back and tell us what you did in the comments or share it on Facebook.   You can also email pictures and we will post them in the next Friday’s post.*
